She writes:

Sometimes when you're printing tiny blocks (to make buttons, for instance) it's quicker to ink the blocks with a stamp pad rather than a foam brush or roller. I haven't been able to find any instructions for a home-made stamp pad to use with fabric paint, only commercial ones.

Bold Lentil makes stamp art from Roger Penrose's mathematical figures, and shows you how:

The result is, I think, a nice irregular geometry that is visually distinct and eye catching. You can scan the Penrose stamped patterns and then have even more fun digitally editing the patterns into additional patterns and shapes. The challenge of a sudoku and the simplicity of stamping. Funky geometric forms liberated from dry mathematical journals and spray painted on the side of my bright red toolbox. If you've had more fun with a stamp pad and an eraser, it probably wasn't legal, or least the mathematicians weren't interested.

Check out the cool new rubber stamps from The Small Object. I can't say which ones I like the best but the Monster Pack and Mr. Marshmallow Man are pretty up there in terms of cuteness.
The amazing craft blog Tsk Tsk shows the work of Tiel Seivl. Tiel here gives us an in depth tutorial on how to create a relief print on a block. From the site, "Lino or wood block printing falls under the catergory of relief. Basically anything carved away from below the surface of the block won't print." The tutorial is fantastic and Tiel's work is doubly inspiring. Link.
