Seamless Single Crochet Tutorial
Alice at futuregirl has a great tutorial on how to do seamless single crochet.
Alice writes:
I love making seamless crochet stuff. It's great when I make the last stitch in my crochet item, and it's done. Joining can be such a pain. Since I can't find instructions anywhere (do you know of any?) that explain how to make something seamless, I'm going to publish the method I settled on after much trial and error. The following instructions are for single crochet.Read Alice's tutorial on her futuregirl site here. - Link.

Crochet Roundup
The craft tutorials blog informs us that it's actually National Crochet Week this week. How great is that? I love the projects she's gathered, some of them favorites on the CRAFT blog like the Bobble Headband. But these 2 above, the crochet dork wallet by Jetson and the fried egg cuffs by Monster Crochet have got to take the cake as some pretty awesome crochet. Check out the rest of her picks. Link.

CRAFT Pattern Podcast: Crystal Lace Bolero by Robyn Chachula
This cute crochet Crystal Lace Bolero is brought to us by Robyn Chachula of Crochet by Faye. Robyn's inspiration for this design was sparked by her best friend's move to Phoenix so she needed an idea for a hot weather crochet piece. The bolero is beautiful but also light and portable. The main motif is granny squares that can be easily joined together to shape the bolero. A perfect piece to make now for spring and summer!
You can also catch up with Robyn and the cool world of crochet on her fantastic blog.
