Satsuma Orange Peel Candle

Honestly WTF has up a tutorial for making a candle from a Satsuma orange peel and some olive oil. The wick is the piece of white pith that connects the stem. It seems like it would smell so good!

Great idea but can't get it to light.

Did you try letting the peel dry out some? Here's the tip at the end of the tutorial:
** Tip: if you’re having trouble lighting the pith, it’s probably because it has too much moisture. Try letting the peel dry overnight (without oil) and don’t forget to submerge the tip into oil for a few seconds before lighting.
