As a kid, one of my favorite things to watch on Television was Mr. Rogers, especially when he had a Speedy Delivery of a cool video of how something was made in a factory. The crayon factory episode in particular had a huge impact on me. I think I've just found my grown-up equivalent. DMC Spain, posted about a visit to the DMC embroidery floss factory in eastern France. The pictures and information are fascinating. I have to admit, my heart started to race just looking through them. I now officially have a new item added to my Bucket List: Must visit the DMC Embroidery Floss Factory! The post is in Spanish, but is easily translated with a quick visit to Google Translate. Enjoy!
this looks so fascinating! and I just adore Mr Rogers and all the little educational field trips he took us on. but when he would pop in a video and show us how something was made, or go visit a factory, i was riveted! so sad when they took him off the air here in LA. i was enjoying watching him all over again with my kids. he would have had a video of the DMC floss factory for sure! it was so his thing! thank you for sharing!

Love it Rachel! That was one of my most favorite things too! Mr. Roger's visit to the crayola factory was the best as a kid. But DMC floss factory, holy, welcome to the room that is in my heart as a twenty-something. :P
