because i love bling :)

Posted by: Stephanie on September 11, 2011 at 7:36 AM

I want these! I'm a shoe addict and a craft addict. However, as a stay at home mom and military wife, I just don't have the funds to get shoes like these (or many things for myself at all, let's face it). I think I would even go a step further and bling out the heel! I craft all the time, and I'm constantly making my own things or re-purposing old things so that I can have things that look amazing but don't cost a lot. I would LOVE to win this kit so that my crafting addiction can just expand and my wardrobe can get better! Thanks!

Posted by: Sara on September 8, 2011 at 4:25 AM

I've confessed on my blog before about having a crush on glitter, well anything that sparkles and shines really. I'd be gushing with brightness if I won the kit! By the way, I like how you balanced the bling on your shoes without being gaudy.

OMG... LOVE this tool. All the blinging I could imagine.

Posted by: LMG on August 28, 2011 at 10:56 PM

Because I am, as my grandmother would say, "needlessly careless with my things" (and a complete klutz), I recently punctured the platform on a shiny new pair of red patent heels ON THE FIRST WEAR. Clearly, I need something to rectify my needless carelessness, and this would do the trick!

Posted by: amanda on August 28, 2011 at 8:20 PM

I love your shoes!!! I need to be the winner since I love shoes and I'm a missionary on the US with a budget!! :)

Posted by: Debbie Daubs on August 28, 2011 at 11:59 AM

This project is so awesome! I have 5 granddaughters and 2 great-granddaughters. That is a lot of bling bling. They love blinged up clothes, purses, or anything prettied up. After seeing this project I think I am going to bling up an old pair of MY SHOES! Love it. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Posted by: Ivory on August 28, 2011 at 1:52 AM

I definatley need some massive bling supplies. I had some major ankle surgery a couple years ago and as a result am no longer able to wear anything with even the slightest heel. This combined with my huge/wide feet and the huge ankle brace I have to wear, means I'm stuck with either sneakers or ugly old lady flats. I need to get some blingity prettyness on my shoes

Posted by: Becky B. on August 27, 2011 at 6:33 PM

I have a nine year-old daughter and we LOVE bling! We could have so much fun remaking shoes, bags, sunglasses, headbands..the possibilities are endless!! Please pick Hannah and I! :-)

Posted by: Meghan on August 27, 2011 at 3:21 PM

I would like to win because I have really really wide feet, and the only shoes I can find to fit me are really boring and plain. These jewels would be awesome. Plus I have 3 little girls that would love to add sparkle to anything and everything they own.

Posted by: Brooke on August 27, 2011 at 2:14 PM

My reason for winning is I have two foster sisters who we hope to adopt, I would LOVE to bling stuff with them. They are girly girls. I have my desk at work that would use some bling! I am thinking my phone at work! Thanks for the giveaway. BLING on!

My combat boots would love some bling...

Posted by: Katie Z. on August 27, 2011 at 5:02 AM

Ooooh, I really want to do this to a pair of shoes for my wedding-- because unfortunately, real bling means a serious budget! The glittery shoes I fell in love with cost $500, which means it's either diy or go barefoot for this bride! I promise to post pictures! :D

Posted by: Diane on August 27, 2011 at 4:33 AM

Love, love this idea. I teach art to Junior High and High School kids and we have decorated running shoes with fabric markers. The kids love to use their creativity on these and I believe that they would go crazy over being able to use "bling" as well!

Posted by: Julia on August 27, 2011 at 3:22 AM

Oh, I could sure use that Tulip kit! I just gave birth to my second boy. I'm forever out-numbered! I need some crystals, ribbon and glitter in my life! Baby Clive might even get crystaled up a bit!

Posted by: Jasmine on August 26, 2011 at 7:56 PM

Corinne, I don't specifically need ny crystals, but wanted to say that it's GREAT to see you back on the interwebs crafting again. I sorely miss Threadbanger from way back in the day. Hey...is that an engagement ring! Mazel Tov! OK. Roger roger, over and out.

Posted by: Rena on August 26, 2011 at 7:47 PM

I love this! I definitely need a little more bling and attitude in my wardrobe. Thanks for the inspiration. (and thanks for the tools??)

Posted by: Sandy on August 26, 2011 at 7:32 PM

b/c blinging things is every girls dream! I love those shoes <3

Posted by: Safeena on August 26, 2011 at 3:16 PM

Oh I LOVE what you've done with those pumps. I have some very loved Ariat riding boots that go back almost 20 years. They've been redyed but as their used for dressup (yeah...) they couldbenefit from a little accessorizing.

Oh yes that would be wonderful, and with the leftovers, cat collar bling. Eleven collars.

Posted by: Jenn on August 26, 2011 at 2:32 PM

OMG! LOVE THE SHOES! So glad that this tutorial was posted. I have really wanted to do a pair like this for myself and wasn't exactly sure how to do it. LOVE IT! I really need to make a pair now! Thanks so much for sharing!

Posted by: Joanne on August 26, 2011 at 2:14 PM

GREAT tutorial! I never thought I could work with such small crystals, but you have inspired me! I teach 2 year olds, and all the girls have those blinged out sneakers, and now Mrs. Zeidman is gonna have her own pair!!!

Posted by: Dawn on August 26, 2011 at 2:08 PM

I have been losing weight and replacing my tent sized clothes with more fitted items from thrift stores - these need some serious bling for me to rock out in.

(I tried posting and it gave me an error message, if double posting feel free to delete one)
