Best Scissors Packaging Ever

lovely-package-fancy-fins1.jpg

Just tell me where and when I can buy these, and I'm getting a whole set. Melissa Ginisiorsky, a recent Pennsylvania State University graduate, designed this packaging concept for decorative-edge scissors. Not only do the boxes resemble friendly fish, they function as a reusable carrying case. You can even peek at the blade style through a die-cut hole in the bottom.

I'm surprised no one's commented on the fact that this packaging is so minimal, compared to the cardboard and blister packaging this kind of product gets today. I applaud the earth-friendliness of this concept!
