CRAFT Pattern: My Fair Ladybug, by Vickie Howell

When I was 3 or 4 years old, my mom knit me a ladybug vest and skirt. Man, I loved that outfit! Unfortunately, the original was lost in the great hand-me-down beyond. Still to this day though, I appreciate the cuddly kitsch of the ensemble; so much so that I decided to create new version for my own daughter. Enter the My Fair Ladybug set - updated with a micro-mini skirt and an ode-to-the-80s boxy vest. For texture (and fanciness), I used a dimple stitch pattern and knit the pieces up in a pop-y green - the Chartreuse(ish) from my Sheep(ish) yarn line. Lastly, the ladybug touch is added with some simple embroidery. The result, well, is a set of nostalgic knits!

As much as we adore the "Ocean's" dream team that consists of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and needless to say Don Cheadle, the 47-year-old actor himself says the franchise has most likely reached its end.

"I believe that was place to bed," Cheadle tells us in the possibility of another "Ocean's" movie. "And I think if we do bring it back, you understand, we really should do it in reverse. We really should do 'Ocean's 9' subsequent, and after that eight, then] seven, and just knock off a character as we go down until there`s just two left. It should be a battle to the death." We'd pay to determine that, but we're not holding our breath for a release date. And, sadly for Effortless Rawlins fans, Cheadle's not going to portray Mouse on the modest screen. (Final fall, there was a report that NBC was working on adapting the Walter Mosley character Easy Rawlins for tv).

"Yeah, that was a thing that came up potentially to do, but it's since kind of gone away," Cheadle says. "But I really like that character. I don't know that I would need to revisit him, Iove kind of been there, carried out that, but I truly dug carrying out that. I had a good expertise with him." But it is possible to catch Cheadle on Showtime's "House of Lies," in which he plays the morally bankrupt consultant Marty Kaan.

"He's a very complex cat, that is fascinating to play. He's do what he has to complete to obtain the job accomplished. He's not above lying, cheating, stealing, throwing a friend under the bus...whatever it takes," Cheadle says. "I think that the show extremely deftly goes to areas which can be hilarious, and funny, and sometimes borderline slapstick. And they can get quite severe simultaneously, and cover that spectrum fairly deftly in 30 minutes. That's pretty remarkable in fact." "House of Lies," which has been picked up for a second season, airs Sundays on Showtime at ten p.m. ET.

"I designed it with Giorgio. It was a collaboration and I helped him form it. I wanted something a thimbleful bit Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface... simple-minded but sexy and a bantam gunsel at the same time. I of it merely showed that we do really well together," she added.
