Craft: transforming traditional crafts

When I first saw this fun pair of dress up bird wings from Eri of Llevo el Invierno on Prudent Baby, I thought to myself, "Heck, for the kids, sure ... but I want a pair, too!" Turns out, they were actually inspired by a pair for adults that was shared on Burda Style last fall. Eri's tutorial is for a kid-sized set of wings, but I'm guessing the idea could be easily upsized for adults and would make a really fun family group Halloween costume.
