How-To: Temari Easter Eggs

temari_eggs.jpg

A few years ago, when I visited Diane of Crafty Pod in Portland, she and her mom Pam, of Gingerbread Snowflakes, and I spent an afternoon doing Temari. Temari is an ancient Japanese art of wrapping balls in intricate thread designs. Pam has taken Temari and applied it to the Easter egg, creating a really special project. She's broken it down in to several detailed steps, making it easy to follow and fun to complete. I can't wait to try Temari again!

I actually found an older tutorial by Gingerbread Snowflakes, and made some earlier this month.
