I've long admired Abigail Patner Glassenberg's gorgeous soft sculptures, with their beautiful shaping and subtle details. She's recently started a series on her blog, While She Naps, about the elements of soft toy design, and she's taking readers through each step of designing, testing and creating softies. So far, her posts are highly detailed and have great tips and information. I'm looking forward to following along for the rest of the series!
