Maker Faire: Show off your Wearable Computing Fashion!

On the first day of Maker Faire Saturday May 22nd, a wearable computing fashion show, eTextile is looking for designers to show their creations at 3 p.m. on the Fiesta Hall stage. The producer of the show Lynne Bruning would love to see kids and teenagers bring their wearable computers to to share with other designers. Find out how to participate here.

Also don't miss Lynne Bruning's presentation in the CRAFT booth "Conductive Fabric: Methods and Materials" at 1pm on Sunday, May 23rd.

Exciting. One of the most recent editions of Fiber Arts magazine has an article about e-Textiles that's pretty interesting. I can't wait for some of the advances to make it to the general public. Like solar curtains that collect the sunlight? That's pretty awesome.
