New Zealand's Victoria University recent graduate Emma Whiteside made this incredible 18th century-style gown from discarded automotive radiator copper for the 2009 World of WearableArt show. The dress weighs 22 pounds and took 200 hours to sew. Check out this closeup:

Victoria University is in Australia in the state of Victoria. The Show as you have mentioned can be entered by anyone worldwide

There is also a Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand (http://www.victoria.ac.nz/home/default.aspx), which is where the artist is from. You are right that there is a Victoria University in Australia, but I don't believe that is the one Whiteside attended.
