Ninja Star Business Cards

ninjastarbusinesscards.jpg

I agree with Core77 that guerilla marketers are less than fun, but these ninja star business cards are really cool! Also check out John Park's post on MAKE about some cool business cards he's seen at Maker Faire so far. Anybody know how to fold up one of these suckers?

Update: Malachi Brown made this tutorial for this shape from four pieces of paper, and I found this other tutorial that uses two pieces of 2x1 paper.

Carol beat me to the punch on how to fold them! Tragically, my cards are all from Moo and too thick to fold. Otherwise, I'd terrorize people with ninja-cards all day.

ninja stars

Four separate pieces of paper, each one a rectangle twice as long as high. Fold each as follows and slide them together.

Fold rectangle in half (so each half of the rectangle forms a square.)

Fold diagonally on one square by bringing the bottom lefthand corner up to the center fold line. Fold a mirror image diagonal on the other square. You now have an arrow shaped piece. Fold in half on the center fold line with the flaps on the inside.

Slide the four pieces together to form the star shape.

I did this in my head, does it work?
