The article mentions to wrap the coin in fabric so the coin isn't actually touching your eyeshadow. Just make sure the fabric is clean.

I have a cake of Mac bronzing powder that has been smashed up.. this fix should work for other powdery cosmetics too right? Hope so!

Keep us posted if this works! I think the bronzing powder is the same consistency as eye shadow.
