I like this weblog it’s a master piece! Glad I discovered this on google after 30 minutes of research... you do not seem strong with SEO, do you? I pity though, as your site is really a valuable resource to most people who are serious on the matter. Go ahead and hire some good SEO guru ASAP :-)
I just went to a baby shower two days ago where the theme was rubber ducks... They had cut sandwiches into duck shapes, and even bought a baby bath shaped like a duck to use as a punch bowl. I wish I'd seen this cake before I went! I would have been perfect.

Oh I didn't mean it to be snarky at all! I love the cake and wouldn't have posted it if I didn't think it's awesome; I was just struck by the humor of imagining festivities where this cake would be a punch line, such as "you finally took a bath" day or things like that. Carrie, your cake is beautiful (and funny)!
That cake is amazing, and I think the question sounds a little snarky coming from a blog that routinely posts things that one has better reason to ask, "and when would that be appropriate?"

There are many occasions where a ducky cake is appropriate: baby shower, kids' parties, National Rubber Ducky Day....
I hope you liked it! Check out some more of my cakes as well as some fun crafts at spoolsisters.com
Thanks for being crafty!
Carrie
