It's time for the first installment of Ask CRAFT! This week I cover a question from Pollie in New Jersey about adding new elements to vintage dishes, while keeping them food-safe, plus Theri from Ohio writes in with a craft fair ethics question. Don't forget to email me your crafty conundrums at becky@craftzine.com. If I didn't answer your question this week, it doesn't mean I've forgotten you! I've been receiving some stellar questions and I'm saving some of the best ones for future installments. Keep 'em comin'!

Ask Craft is a great idea!
Here's my question: What kind of glue can you use to attach metal to metal?
Here are some ideas...
-It would be great if you could edit in pictures of the items you are talking about
-It would be cool if the questions were presented in video form from the asker. That way it would be like a conversation between the crafty perplexed and the crafty master.
Can't wait for the next one!

At Michael's I bought a ceramic paint pen that can be set in an oven. It is called Porcelaine 150, you bake it at 200 degrees F for 35 minutes. It is made by a company called Pebeo - the web site is www.pebeo.com. Hope this helps.

there Used to be a popular food safe paint that was fused by baking in your kitchen oven. They used to have this at Michaels and other Craft supply stores.
