hello kitty death cake

Hello Kitty Hell has a picture of this Hello Kitty death cake. There's no back story, but I would love to receive a cake like this. via Crafty Crafty.

Heaven forbid you guys google "corpse cake" and see the stuff I've done. It's just a cake.

Thank you for posting this. Blood and guts are a fact of life, and it's an obnoxious cartoon cat, for chrissakes.

But please, stop including reproduction-related posts on this blog! Baby toys and the like support the unethical and kinda gross enterprise of bringing larval humans into the world. I will stop reading Craft if you keep nauseating me like this!

(Take-home message: there's stuff here that I don't like, but I don't bitch about it because it sounds pretty ridiculous and oversensitive. Maybe you sound ridiculous and oversensitive too.)

I think this cake is a sick reflection of what some of our society has adopted as "cool".
Of course some will say I'm so old fashioned, or whatever they want.
However, just a couple days ago I was wondering how all these skull t shirts, and "COOL" death clothes and artifacts would be accepted in countries where war, and death, and even torture are a way of life? Also, if some of us were living in these countries, or even had a relative violently murdered, would we tend to think of things like this cake as "cute" any longer?
I think we, as individuals need to pause and reflect on the things we see,and hear, and not automatically accept something because it is vaunted as "cool", or "with it"., or the "now thing", or even "awesome".
There is enough violence, death, and innocent victims in the world now. I would be sad to see birthday party fads start with cakes like these...
In conclusion I think the creator of the cake is very artistic, and creative. I only wish they would "delete" these kind of message cakes from their agenda.
Thank you for allowing me to comment.
I would also like to know if anyone out there in Cyber space agrees with me???

It's a little creepy for my taste, but I kinda like it.

This is so sad to me. The cake is beautifully done but twisted. It seems juvenile like little boys pulling the legs off of spiders.
