This sounds like a great idea and I would consider doing this for my kids but it reminds me of my childhood in the early 70s. When I was about four, my Dad had to tell me the story of Jack and the Beanstalk every night. For months. And months. Finally one night, he came in with a reel to reel recording of JATB which threw me into a blind rage. I would have nothing of it. That's the last I remember. After that I don't know how much longer he had to endure the telling of the story.
