Doll parts usually look so creepy when dismembered, but jewelry designer Margaux Lange has a knack for taking it one step further; we posted up about her last year but she's still going strong! Check out her beautiful and very artistic Barbie jewelry, via Cool Hunting.

I remember playing with Barbies and my brother's GI Joe dolls when I was a kid. I think it would be cool to have some of the chicks from the GI Joe lineup torn apart into jewelry....definitely better than doll parts from the Cabbage Patch kids...
Of course I also shot the heads of some of my Barbie with my brothers BB gun, I might nt be the normal demographic for this loine of jewelry.....hehe...

It's as if this jewelry is shooting for creepy for creepys sake and is missing the mark by a mile. It's not creepy, nor 100% original nor beautiful in all honesty. I understand the whimsical statements of wearing barbie ears on our ears and even the stretch at saying it's a statement on the objectifying of a plastic doll said to consist of the ideal woman with no organs or personality. It's cutesy.. but I wouldn't pay almost $200 a pop for cutesy.

And I love it. I feel so feminine in it as it reminds me of my childhood and holds a part of my current life in it. (It's a chest heart with copper nipples which look more like pasties to me) Her pieces about the 5 senses are so unique and just wonderful.

I don't think this is appalling at all. Its beautifully done, I love the fact that a little bit of my childhood can still exist in my adulthood, when one can easily lose sight of the fact that life's for living (and having fun!).
Might go get myself one of those cute rings...

I first saw this jewelry posted on boingboing and couldn't believe what I saw.
Different parts of a woman's body either slabbed on a ring or strung on a necklace. There is nothing cool about objecting women and especially nothing cool about presenting them just be certain body parts.

That may be the most bad ass jewelry that I have ever seen. I am speechless. This is so rad.
