If you are in the Portland, Maine area on Saturday, head on over to the first ever PICNIC Music + Arts Festival on September 13, 2008 from 11am to 6pm at Congress St. and Franklin Arterial in Lincoln Park. The free event will have 70 of the most talented emerging artists from the local DIY indie craft scene. Crafters and artists will be selling handmade products such as clothing, jewelry, prints, accessories, bags, plush, paper goods, housewares, fine art, vintage goods, bicycles, records, and much more.
