Once you make one of these, you will wonder how you ever sewed without it. I keep one on my machine and one on my ironing board. You can substitute plastic drinking straws for the "strapping" tape from packages. Also, the pattern leaves the lining seams showing. Not a big deal, but you can line the bag as you would a garment for a more finished product. (Leave opening in lining bottom, insert bag exterior into lining, right sides together. Sew top. Pull the finished bag through the hole in the lining.)
