Los Angeles CRAFT: 07 Release Party

Yesterday, Austin and Portland hosted two mighty fun release parties celebrating our new issue--and you'll hear more about those shebangs very soon! Right now I want to tell you about this weekend's release party, which will be happening in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 8. I'll be hosting the party at the eco-friendly boutique ReForm School in Silver Lake, where we'll be giving away fun door prizes donated by Chronicle Books and CRAFT, offering special subscription deals, and enjoying sweet treats and lemonade while we make cool crafts inspired by the current issue.

Since this is the shoe issue, I thought we'd whip up some of these adorable felt flower shoe clips from Cathy Callahan's "Old School" column. We'll have all the supplies on hand for you to make-and-take a pair of your own, all you have to bring is your crafty enthusiasm. Hope to see you there, or at one of our upcoming parties in San Francisco (June 21), Boston (June 21), or Detroit (June 29). Stay tuned!
