Join us in Detroit this Sunday, June 29, for our final release party of the month! The party's going down from 1-4 at Woodward Ave. Brewers and is hosted by the fabulous peeps from the Handmade Detroit collective.
You can expect tasty snacks, cheap drinks (please note: the party is ALL AGES), and bargain-basement subscription deals. They've got some great door prizes to give away from CRAFT and our friends at Chronicle Books--plus signed copies of 99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Tie and Rock Your Scarf from our pals at Compai. Compai has also donated some awesome CHAOS teeshirts to give away! You really, really don't wanna miss out on this one.
The make-and-take craft project offered at this event is inspired by Cathy Callahan's shoe clip project from the new issue--but Handmade Detroit put their own clever spin on it, as seen in the pic above. Come get your craft on and you're sure to be the only person on your block with Michigan-shaped shoe clips!
