HOW TO - Sew an Eyepatch

EyepatchTute.jpg

Eyepatches aren't all about saying "Arrrr!" and looking like a pirate. They actually serve a purpose for those with eye injuries or squint problems. As a kid, I had to wear one for about a month when a fellow pre-schooler threw a handful of sand in my eye, scratching my cornea. I would have been so grateful if my mom had been able to use this eyepatch-crafting tutorial at Lucky Kate Crafts, so I could have worn something that made me feel less weird (and more cute).

Thanks for the eye patch instructions. This gives me an idea of how to make an eye patch for my poor chihuahua that is blind in one eye. She's been bumping into things, and I'm so afraid she's going to injure her eyeball. Thanks again!
