I'm absolutely drooling over this colorful folding lawn chair posted at Supernaturale--and am inspired to try and make one. Original poster Scott says:
A friend of a friend named Kendra found this wonder in an Ohio thrift store.It is a normal folding chair frame--the kind we see discarded all the time. Cheap and plentiful acrylic yarn has been woven back and forth and knotted at the edges. Acrylic yarn is almost free, strong and water resistant. Kendra has left this chair outside all summer for 2 years.
The reports say that the chair is comfortable and doesn't sag. Now I know what to make at the beach house!
