Blair from Eight by Eight blog posted photos of the process for paper bag piecing and wrote about it on the Eight by Eight blog. I had never heard of this process, but Blair describes it as cutting strips of fabric and placing them in a bag. She pulled out pieces of fabric in pairs, sewed them together and put them back in the bag until she was left with one sewed together square. I like that idea because sometimes you can spend too much time staring at different fabrics trying to figure out the perfect combination.
