HOW TO - Make an "Eddie Cap"

Thimble recently linked to this adorable step-by-step tutorial from the Mushroom Villagers blog, showing how to make this stylish "Eddie Cap" for a kidlet. These would look great in all sorts of fabrics and colors! If you make one, be sure to add a pic to the Eddie Cap Flickr Pool.

I made two of these for Christmas gift. They came out really well. The tutorial is easy to follow.

I lined the top with some soft flannel.

One change I made was to shorten the bill by at least an inch. Looking at the completed hat, I'm glad I did.
