I'm not trying to be mean (and I'm sure whoever made this is talented), but isn't this necklace kind of...ugly? I thought the new craft movement was moving away from this kind of look...

I think this is fun. Not ugly at all. It is certainly not something to wear to the opera, but I would wear it out shopping. You can choose the colors and kinds of beads you want--it doesn't have to be multicolored. I like how simple the design is.
