In southern US states, watch out for termites. I made one out of some left over wood (supposedly pressure treated). I ended up redoing it with cinder blocks and filling the with fill dirt to hold them in place. That way they could be moved if we change our minds or want to enlarge our garden.
I also made a "salsa" container garden out of a huge plastic tub. It had jalepeno, bell pepper, onion and cilantro. The tomatoes were from the big garden.
