Electronic Embroidery

I just finished up my first LilyPad Arduino embroidery project. I wanted to experiment with conductive thread mixed with traditional embroidery floss to make a wall hanging that lights up and makes sound and is visually interesting. It was a good way to learn traditional embroidery, especially comparing it to creating circuit paths. You can come see it in person tonight at Cartel Coffee Lab or at the Arts, Media and Engineering Open House next Tuesday, both in Tempe, AZ. Or just watch the video.
