Garth at Extreme Craft writes:

Speaking of public art, Knit graffiti isn't just for the shadowy yarn anarchists of Knitta anymore. The town of Yellow Springs, Ohio has gone cuckoo for adorning their trees with yarn. Residents of the town have embraced knit graffiti in a big way, covering the town's "knitknot" tree in knit panels filled with in-jokes and family artifacts.

You know what I was thinking when ap took the photo? What the heck am I doing up in this tree.

Yep, we had fun doing it, but my I am astonished at the press about it.
If you want to see a slide show or info about it, visit our website (non commercial) www.jafagirlart.com

Glad people got a kick out of it.

Someone in my lovely hometown of Norfolk, VA was doing a little knit-fiti, but it mysteriously disappeared. Rumor has it some city official removed them....not all cities are as cool as others.
