Fabric Covered Switch Plates

Pink Chalk Studio made these colorful fabric covered switch plates. I love her technique for sewing an extra piece of fabric in the middle to keep the fabric lines clean when you glue the switch plate to the fabric. A great way to use up your fabric scraps!

What a great idea. My sewing skills are not that advanced, BUT, paper & glue would probably achieve similar result. I do have one tip for folks, lightly sand the switchplate cover if it's plastic so it's a little tacky. It works ok if you use a super-fine grit paper or steel wool it will make any plastic easier to glue on
