Hey - thanks for the nice words! I'm familiar with half cross stitch and encourage those who want to attempt it.. I made the main cross-stitch (colored part) simpler because the back-stitch (outline) was more technical. I will keep your encouraging words in mind for my future patterns.

NOt too sure I'm down with this. I can't decide whether the jagged inner cross stitch area is a design feature or flaw. There is such a thing as a half cross stitch to fill in awkward spaces in designs.
