Lion Brand Yarn Fashion Show at CHA

Lionbrand Sweaterbag-1
The Lion Brand Yarn Fashion Show was held last Monday at CHA was a fun event to watch. Hosted by Vanna White and Adina Klein, Editor in Chief of Vogue Knitting, the show featured previewed some beautiful knits and crochet pieces, perfect for Fall. One of my favorite outfits is this one above featuring the Intarsia Brocade Afghan (Crochet, Vanna's Choice 70355) in my favorite color of the season yellow paired with the knit Plush Purse (Knit, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 70670) with wooden handles and a felted chain necklace to complete the look.

All of the pieces featured Lion Brand Yarn and also showcased Vanna's Choice, Vanna White's yarn collection. (Did you know she's an avid crocheter?) The colors are beautiful and I've heard a lot of great things about Vanna's yarn. More on my favorites from the Lion Brand Yarn Fashion Show after the jump.

Beret Jumper
The Radical Check Tunic (Crochet, Vanna's Choice, Wool-Ease 70720) looks like a great easy project to make and is a perfect layering piece. Lots of great hats were featured but I'm loving the Le Chic Beret (Crochet, Vanna's Choice 70689).

Armwarmers
The arm warmers (Crochet, Wool-Ease Chunky 70305) here looked cozy warm.

Knitbonnet
Also love the knit bonnet style here with the Fall Fling Hat (Knit, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, 70321).

Colorblockthrow
This Color Block Throw (Crochet, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 70424) was stylishly put on as a dress. Great colors!

Stirrupsocks
The Stirrup Socks (Knit, Wool-Ease 70668) are also awesome.

Neckwarmer
This Triple Ruff (Knit, Vanna's Choice 70617) neckwarmer takes on new fashion heights.

Fairaislecaplet
Heres the Fair Isle Capelet (Knit, Wool-Ease 70556) and the Two Color Tango Scarf (Knit, Vanna's Choice, Lion Cashmere Blend 70661). Again, love the burst of yellow here.

Legwarmers
Here's the Candy Colored Afghan (Crochet, Sock Ease 70804) in an updated Granny Square plus super cute yellow knit leg warmers/thigh highs (Knit, Sock Ease 70782).

Scarf Handmuffs
The Sculptural Scarf )Knit, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 70616) can actually curl and you can wear it in lots of different ways. Also cool are these Drawstring Hand Muffs (Crochet, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 70613).

Cronosdress
I loved the futuristic look of this Cronos Dress (Crochet, Cotton Ease, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 70569) matched with the
High Wire Scarf ( Knit, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 70639).

How much did they pay you. . .

to give such a glowing write-up to this trash. Everything here is UGLY, UGLY, UGLY. Lion Brand has gone WAY downhill, and Vanna's Choice yarn is reviled everywhere - it's shoddy and it splits like crazy.

Shame on you!
