That's a lot of climbing, but probably okay as long as you're not a child or senior.

Plexiglas (or something similar) might be a better material to use. That way you could have the spines facing down and easily just look up at what you wanted you... uh, look up.

I think that'd be a pretty bad idea if you lived anywhere near the Ring of Fire.
