What's funny about this is that I just bought two of those pictured patterns at Joann's 5/$5 sale. They looked stylish and simple, but able to be dressed up in various ways. :o)

Thanks for posting this. I've seen Patternreview.com before but the year end top 15 introduced me to a couple of pattern companies I did not yet know about.
I liked how, aside from the Built by Wendy sack dress (and I love her book, Sew U, by the way), most of the patterns that people liked really emphasized a tapered waist, rather than the poofy, maternity-style clothing that's in all the stores right now. Clearly, those of us who make our own clothes know what works!
