From now through Jan 13th, you can check out Stephanie Friedman's exhibit "Migrations and Integrations" at the Diaz Gallery (3507 S. 1st at Alpine) in Austin, Texas. Her sewn pieces show birds taking flight along stitched paths and is a sight to see. You can see more info about the exhibit on her site here. Link.
