Funky Robot with Picture Pocket

Robotphotosoftie
Patti Schiendelman gives us a quick project tutorial to make this cute photo pocket robot.

Patti writes:

I made this for a friend who collects robots and is into science. I knitted the front and felted it, but you could easily make it out of felted thrift store sweaters. This is a funky robot, so I did some pretty funky stitching when I sewed him together. I used clear plastic for the pocket, from the art supply store, but you could use recycled plastic packaging. Just cut a rectangle about an inch wider and taller than your picture dimension, use a small hole punch to make the holes around 3 sides, and sew it on. I found science pictures on the web, but it would be a cute stuffie photo frame for any kind of picture. You could even sew a pocket on an existing animal.

A photo of a well-gnawed turkey leg would look hilarious in that bay window.
