If you're in the Portland, OR area this Saturday don't miss the big event, Scrap's Iron Artist 5 is happening in lot on the corner of North Vancouver and Failing.

From the site:

Often described as Iron Chef meets Junkyard Wars, Iron Artist is a sculpture competition in which ten teams of artists receive exactly the same materials and have three hours to build a sculpture based on a theme that is announced at the start of the event. Referees entertain the crowd while keeping the competition fair, and also give out merits and demerits accordingly. Local celebrities judge the final pieces and award the winning team the Cup du SCRAP (pictured above) and the title of Iron Artist Champion.
