It was a foggy, cold night at AT&T Park in San Francisco as the 2nd annual SF Giants Stitch N' Pitch welcomed over 1400 stitchers to the stadium. Barry Bonds didn't hit a home run, but the mood at the stadium was filled with lots smiles and laughs as people came from all around the Bay Area to take part in this special event. There were knitting and crochet demonstrations, needlepointing galore, and for us at the CRAFT magazine table we showed off some of the recent entries from our Stitch N' Pitch Contest. During the game, you could see the bundled up crafters working on all kinds of projects from knitting to needlepoint. Pictured above is a scene at the stadium, Arwen and Katie at our CRAFT magazine table, the rowdy "Nordie Knitters" who knit at Nordstrom's cafe every Friday afternoon, some some knitting concentration during the game, and finally, needlepoint in action. The garlic fries ruled as well as the flavored cotton candy (lemon's the best). To see all the photos, check out my Flickr set. Link.

I missed Atlanta's Stitch n Pitch but I'm moving to San Jose in January so maybe next year; however, I'll always be a Braves fan!
