CRAFT + iPhone
I just got my new iPhone and the first site I tested was the CRAFT site to make sure it all looked ok. Sure enough it looks great! Never before has a mobile browser worked so well. Reading the blog from the phone is really seamless too and the text is very crisp when you zoom in. Just amazing. Have a happy weekend everyone!

Björk's Crochet Costumes
I have always loved Björk and her music. She's just so adorably cute that I have even forgiven her for the swan dress she wore to the Oscars. Now I love her even more in her free form crochet costume (found via knitgrrl) she's been wearing on her latest tour and is in another one on the cover of her new album. Her costumes are created by The Icelandic Love Corporation where you can see more of the beautiful free form crochet design work. Link.
Also don't miss more photos of Björk's in her crochet costume here. - Link.

CRAFT Magazine's Stitch N' Pitch Contest: Deadline June 30th at Midnight PST
Hi Crafters! Just as a quick correction, the deadline for the Stitch N' Pitch Contest is June 30th which is Saturday, not Friday as I had stated earlier this week on the blog. Forgive me! I got my days all jumbled and I can't believe it's already going to be July. A few of you have asked what time the cutoff is on June 30th and you'll have until Midnight (PST) to turn in photos of your project. For those of you who were having problems uploading your photos to Flickr, we now have an option for you to email the photos to nat@craftzine.com with the subject line "Stitch N' Pitch Contest Entry". Please still fill out the entry form so we have all your contact information and note in the Additonal Info box that you have emailed your photo in. We are getting some great entries so keep them coming! To enter, visit the Stitch N' Pitch contest page here. Link.

Megan Wilson's Morning Glory Exhibit at Tinlark Gallery in Hollywood through June 30th

If you are in the LA area, head on over to Tinlark Gallery (Crossroads of the World, 6671 Sunset Blvd., No. 1512, Hollywood, CA 90028, Phone: 323-463-0039) to see the multimedia works of Megan Wilson exhibiting her installation Morning Glory. Inspired by a love of patterns and textiles, Wilson's work explores the intersections between fine art, design, architecture, and traditional crafts. Hurry! The exhibit will officially end this Saturday, June 30th, but the installation will be up until early next week, if you can make it over the weekend. Link.
Jenny Ryan of Felt Club exclaims, "It's all felt, fabric, straight pins, multicolored sequins and intricate paper quilling...it looks amazing in person, sparkly and felt-y and super crafty!" You can also see more photos of the Morning Glory exhibit in our CRAFT Flickr Pool here. Link.
