Zakka: Embroidered Baby Shoes

Check out these little embroidered baby shoes that are a WIP from Molly Chicken. Looks like a fun baby gift to make. The pattern is from Handmade Zakka, a Japanese book series that is featured in CRAFT: 03 , that I have come to love. I have most of them but need to get them all. Very cute, but surely those pins are not meant to stay in the slippers while the baby is wearing them? Babies grab their feet! Gotta consider safety over artistic license sometimes.
