Crafty Business Sucess Story: Kris Nations Jewels

I'm really proud of my friends, Kris and Kim Nations who won this year's National Association of Women Business Owners' Rising Star Award. The sisters run Kris Nations Jewelry together with Kris as the designer and Kim as the business woman/web designer. Kris is an amazing jewelry designer and started making her own jewelry after she was laid off by a dot com a few years ago. What seems to set us crafters today from those of the past I believe is our Internet savvy. You can hear their crafty business success story through their recent appearance on the local Bay Area TV show, View from the Bay. I saw Kris and Kim start this with only a dream through passing conversation while shopping on Haight street to now having trunk shows at Bloomingdales. Congrats ladies! Link.
