Dorkbake - Feb 3rd in LA

If you live in the Los Angeles area and love a good baking challenge, don't miss the Dorkbake on Feb 3rd at Machine Project (1200 D North Alvarado Street, Los Angeles). Teams that register must construct small baking ovens that use only the heat of a 100-watt incandescent light bulb. Ah, flashbacks to my childhood... Winners will be judged on engineering, aesthetics and taste so don't forget grandma's special recipe. Lots of prizes will be given out including free subscriptions to MAKE and CRAFT magazines. Plus our very own Mark Frauenfelder (Editor-in-Chief of MAKE) and Carla Sinclair (Editor-in-Chief of CRAFT) will be judges at the event! Space is limited so sign up your team today! Link.
